Our brains are busy things. What with all those neurons beavering away, sorting things out at work, home, school and dog park. It’s a lot for one organ to handle. Somehow, it mostly succeeds.
There are, I’m told, many kinds of brain cells, each dedicated to a particular cerebral activity. A complete taxonomy would be tedious to list, let alone read, but many types, such as the groundless fears neuron, the vain hopes neuron, and the why-in-heaven’s-name-did-I-just-say-that neuron, will be familiar to most.
In these eventful, stressful days, a contentless thought bubble might be a good thing, at least momentarily. But in order to be sure, I’d have to think about it and … well, you see the problem.
